Women are built differently, this is a fact. You may be curvy with wide hips, or you may have a boyish figure. You may be tall or you might be on the shorter side. All women are different. These are all considerations to make when shopping for a pair of jeans that will fit you perfectly.

Low-rise jeans are great for short-waisted women as they sit lower on the hips, making the torso look longer and you thinner whilst slim jeans are perfectly designed for thin or petite woman, snug in the seat and thighs with either a tapered or boot-cut leg. The shape of the jeans' leg is crucial for getting the right line for your figure. For example, a tapered or straight-leg style provides an illusion of length, and flared and wide-cuts can greatly accentuate short legs. Additionally, it is crucial to wear a shoe or boot which compliments your chosen jeans. Make sure the mood of the shoe is right. Jeans are inherently casual and so a flat shoe may be more appropriate, however, this is of course entirely debateable.
