I have discovered the best way to keep your emotions from appearing over and over again, is to evaluate them. Be aware of what you are feeling and take action by attending to them, as they come up. Taking this action, will prevent them from blowing up in your face.

When you are angry, frustrated, upset, not thinking clearly, it is wise to resolve those emotions as soon as possible, evaluate them, and find out how they influence your child. An important key, is to listen to your child and speak about the issue with open thoughts and not harsh words.
