You will sleep more soundly and wake refreshed in the morning.
In moderation, alcohol can help you to be more relaxed and to be able to deal with the day-to-day problems that you have. If you abuse it, however, the true depressant quality of the drug really begins to show through. Make sure that you don't get fooled by the temporary effects that you experience, you will end up more depressed and with less quality sleep in the long run.
