It will ensure you are working out for the proper duration needed for the workout to have a positive effect.

Choose the right exercises for the interval training part. Different exercises target different muscles with the intention of delivering unique results. Some exercises, like the goblet squats, target the lower extremities, while lifts focus on the upper body myscles. Basic swinging of the bells target the entire body musculature.

The secret is to pick one or more exercises. Be sure it is an exercise that can be performed at 10 - 15 reps. This is a must for fat burning. Anything less will result to strength training or muscle building. While not bad goals, we are looking towards fat burning with out interval training.

The next step is to set the duration. What would be the best duration? This will depend on the goals you have set and on your current fitness level. 10-20 minutes will be fine - 30 minutes to see top results. The truth is, there will be impressive results from this exercise irregardless of the duration - you have to be motivated to do the program.
