How can you add to the bottom line of your business? Save a few pennies...
Henry Ford was a pioneer in the auto industry by coming up with the assembly line. Why was it so revolutionary? It saved money and made the cars more affordable to the consumer...so much so, that the average person was able to buy one. Mr. Ford made cars cheaper without compromising quality, which meant that more families could buy one...his market share in the auto industry skyrocketed!
Today's lesson is to stay on top of every activity, every penny spent, and always be on the lookout for ways to save. If you can do that, without compromising quality...well then you'll be at the top of the game, much like Mr. Ford!
Even if it's just a few pennies in savings, remember that at the end of the day pennies turn to dollars and dollars to hundreds of dollars in the home marketing world. Still not convinced...take a look at Howard Hughes for example.
By redesigning the tin can his food came in, he was able to save two fifths of a cent. He was then able to split the difference with his customers, reducing the cost to them by 1/5 of a penny. That little bit of savings significantly boosted his market share and netted him millions more dollars on his bottom line.
Tying this into your home marketing business...think about the things that you do on a daily basis that consumes time and/or money. Trimming a few things here and there could add up to thousands for your bottom line. Think of how time consuming a home business would be without the computer or internet...
Your homework now is to take a look at all of the processes in your home marketing business...get some poster paper, tape it to the wall, and map it out. Once you can visualize what you're doing everyday, you can begin to see where there is waste and begin implementing ways to save you time and money. You need to know your business better than anyone and have your finger on everything that is going on, ensuring max productivity/profit potential. Time and money is the reason that you started a home marketing business after all, isn't it?
A penny saved could mean the difference of success or failure for your home business...
