Starting your own online business can be very scary at times. Especially if you never took on such an endeavor. It would be nice to be lead by the hand and shown how to do everything needed to become a successful online business owner. Isn't that what I was promised when I enrolled? How many times have you heard this come out of someone? Well my freinds this thought is what holds us back from accomplishing our goals at internet marketing.

I started out in an online business a while back hoping to find my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. At first I was so full of motivation and confidence, even though I knew absolutely nothing about internet marketing online. My company has a great resource and support team. Being full of doubt and fearful of mistakes I found myself indecisive, procrastinating, and hit with a huge dose of "paralysis of the analysis". I was trying to get ten things done at once, instead of doing the one thing that counts the most; "taking action". Internet marketing not only requires this trait but demands it if you want to become a success and a leader in your online business.

I like you have seen the late night infomercials that promise overnight millionaire status, and have been taken by them because of my naivety. This time was different though. I had all the support I needed to achieve my dreams. The guidance and the leadership. Everything was there, so why could I not get going! WHY? This was so frustrating because I was being mentored by people who had made it, and I was blowing it. You see I was treating my online business like a hobby.

One day it happened. On one of our daily wakeup calls I finally got "it". The insight to get moving. My dreams are to become financially free, and the internet has that power to give diligent internet marketers freedom in all aspects of life. I started doing what I was told; no matter what. Network marketing, placing ads, email marketing, staying plugged into the community, buying courses on internet marketing, reading and studying them until I learned from them. Now I'm happy to report that I am finally seeing results. Only because I'm treating my online business like a business, not a hobby. Online business or hobby, success or failure, pitiful or powerful; " YOU CAN'T HAVE BOTH"!
