People who are looking to learn how to market using the internet usually always run into the same problem. They see all of the different ways to market online and they try to learn it all, which gives them information overload. Information overload makes the new marketer feel overwhelmed and makes them very unproductive.

Even though there are a ton of different marketing strategies to use online, they all work and they all have their own unique benefits. In fact, if people learned to master just one marketing technique it would have enormous effects on their business.

The problem is that most people try to learn every marketing strategy out there, and end up learning a little bit about a lot of different things. Loosing focus is a really easy thing to do online, because of all the different voices trying to sell you on different ideas.

New marketers have a hard time staying focused because of all the different products and information that is out there. All of the products and voices online tend to overload new marketers with information.

The key is to make a plan of action for yourself and follow that plan staying 100% focused. One of the hardest things to do for people just starting out is to stay focused and consistent. The only way you will see results with online marketing is to stay consistently learning and implementing one or two strategies.

Sticking to an action plan will give you very good results that will compound in time. What I mean by this is if you have a goal of writing one article a day, then by day 60 you will have 60 articles that are all brining you traffic for your business.

On the other hand, if you try to do everything then chances are you will have a few articles, a few videos, and a few pay per click ads out there that will not bring you very good results.

It is very important to stick to an action plan that you set for yourself so that your efforts will begin to compound. If you were consistently writing just one article a day, and you did this for sixty days, you would end up with a lot of traffic and a lot of expertise in one area.

Even though you will probably hear this same advice from a lot of other teachers online, it is crucial that you take the advice and focus on just one strategy at a time.
